DOT Physicals

Whether you're a commercial driver renewing your medical certificate or obtaining one for the first time, we're here to make the process simple, efficient, and stress-free.

We provide thorough medical examinations for commercial drivers in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

To help ensure your exam goes smoothly, please bring:

  • A valid driver's license or photo ID

  • A list of your current medications (or the medication bottles)

  • Glasses, contact lenses, or hearing aids if you use them while driving

Any required medical documentation from your healthcare provider or specialist, if applicable (such as cardiac clearance, sleep apnea compliance reports, insulin documentation, or other relevant records)

What to Expect

Your DOT physical includes:

  • Review of your medical history

  • Vision and hearing screening

  • Blood pressure and vital signs

  • Urinalysis (required for kidney health screening; not a drug test)

  • Comprehensive physical examination

  • Discussion of any medical conditions that may affect your ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle

If you meet FMCSA medical standards, your Medical Examiner's Certificate will be issued at the completion of your visit, and best of all, our team submits your certification to the FMCSA National Registry the same day as your exam.

Most DOT physicals take approximately 20-30 minutes. We recommend scheduling an appointment to minimize wait times.
